Frequently Asked Questions

- Do you have a cancelation policy?

   We ask that if you need to cancel to give us a call 24 hours prior to your schedule appointment. 

- Do you require deposits for appointments?

   Deposits are only required for Clients that have had more than 2 No shows in the past.

- Do you sell gift certificates?

   Yes! Gift cards can purchase multiple ways. You can come in person to the salon, call 301-829-9600 to purchase over the phone. or purchase online through our website.

- What if I lose my gift certificate?

   A gift card is like cash so if it is lost there isn't much we can do. 

- Do I need to wear anything special for my appointment?

   No, but we do recommend not wearing anything with a high neck or bulky neckline, such as a turtleneck or shirts with a hood.

- Can I put gratuity onto my credit card?

   Gratuities cannot be added to credit cards, they can be added to a check or be paid in cash.

- What is your pricing policy?

   Prices listed are a starting price and subject to change without notice. Prices cannot be guaranteed unless you ask the stylist doing your service for a quote.

- Do you offer discounts for senior citizens?

   Yes, we offer discounts for senior citizens over 65.

- What methods of payment do you take?

   We accept cash, checks, Visa & Mastercard.

- What happens if I'm late for my appointment?

   We ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment.

Should you arrive late, we'll do our best to keep your appointment, however we may need to shorten or change what was scheduled to ensure that the stylist & other guests aren't affected.

- Do you offer free consultations?

   Absolutely! Just give us a call to set one up with one of our amazing stylists.

- When do you recommend a consultation?

   Anytime you are looking for a change in color or style. If you are concerned about your budget. Or if there is a concern about the health of your hair.

- Do you have a service guarantee?

   If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us while at the salon & we will try our best to meet your expectations.

- Do you offer refunds?

   As a general rule we do not give refunds on hair services. If you are unhappy with your hair, we will do everything we can to correct it. We ask that you notify us within 72 hours of receiving your service.

- Are children allowed in the salon?

   Yes, but please keep into consideration that we are not responsible for accidents & that if something is broken, the guardian is responsible.

- Can I bring pictures of what I want?

   Definitely! This is often helpful with allowing the stylist & guest to communicate expectation.

- Do you offer appointments outside of normal hours?

   Sometimes, if you need to come in during off hours ask us. If we are able to accommodate what you need there will be an additional charge of $30 for up to the 1st hour & $10 for each additional hour.

- What if I love the salon but want to try another stylist?

   Don't be shy to ask to try someone new! We are a team. We will not be offended or make you feel uncomfortable. We would much rather stay with Reflections than go somewhere else.
